They are a public servants, should not come to work with that actitud. We are here for the service and because you'll need to accelerate de process. Management team please check your workers, make sure they received proper training. The bureaucracy in government buildings is at the most splendor shine. Their intentions are good, but lack of knowledge is horrible. One person say something different, that the other person. The Gardena CDTC is a great CDMV center for CDL or commercial vehicle operators! Truck and bus drivers have this place available for obtaining a commercial license, getting a renewal and having an instant record printout within minutes. Drivers start at the middle window for paperwork, either for appointments or walk-in’s. Those with appointments get priority. Walk-in’s may wait, depending on the amount of personnel available and appointment line applicants in the cue. Either way, wait times are considerably less than a typical regular DMV center! For reference, the entrance gate is off Avalon Blvd at the south end of the fence opening, with parking available just inside of the fence. The exit is at the north end of the parking lot. Restrooms are accessible from the outside, at the opposite side of the building. The test lot is located on this side as well.

It was terrible. I was there for longer than I should have been. I don't understand why the clerk was so determined to remove my PENDING Class A test from the system. There's obviously a reason DMV/GOD allowed.m it to be there. I wasn't supposed to take a test to renew my license, but now I have to take 3. It didn't say it online via email nor when I came in last week. The clerk's coworker printed out some information from my license when he asked her a question, and when I asked her if I could have a copy, she said she shredded it. I was looking at her---she did NOT. The clerk told me I didn't need my VTT certificate when I told him I wanted it and didn't mind paying the extra fee. He said I couldn't have my HAZMAT ENDORSEMENT even though I paid for it. WHY NOT?? I took the test, passed it, and paid for it and was approved to receive it. Class A or B, it shouldn't matter---IT'S HAZMAT. He said I would have to take the test over again and pay again. From listening to other PEOPLE OF COLOR, it seems we keep getting opposed in this Commercial License System for every little thing. I have a real ID for my Class B, and I still had to bring in 2 forms of proof of address. WHY? I use my license for work. I'm not using a fake address, lol. Evidently I am going to be able to get my DL from that address...DUH! I forgot to mention how 3 different individuals kept acting as if my address didn't exist. They continued to say it's invalid. This went on for at least 8 minutes. The lady in the photo department was a sweetheart. The gentleman who processed my application was cool and had a great sense of humor. Both of them made my time there worthwhile. I didn't meet the woman in the back who the 1st 2 clerks went to for questions, but I will say she knows her stuff. I'm so HAPPY she was there. What a BLESSING!!!! Now I have to go back for the 3rd time. If I have to deal with those 1st 2 clerks again, I'll wait to be helped by someone else. I don't like to feel as though someone is against me. That makes me put my defensive armor on. Okay. I'm done venting.
